Here's a free iNovaFX Photoshop Action to turn your greenish camera file into a solid low noise monochrome image.

It simply copies the Green channel into the Red and Blue. The Green channel was the sharpest of the three and had the best S/N ratio and best tonality. Now they all are identical, so you get pure B&W!

Two minor utilities are included to show one way that monochrome image can become a false-color image.
